We believe responsible forestry requires looking beyond what can be harvested today. When a property contains valuable hardwoods, the goal should not simply be to remove everything of value.
Through selective harvesting and thoughtful management, desirable trees can remain to provide seed and support the next generation of the forest. The work done today should leave the property in a position to continue growing and improving for the future.
About Luke
Luke Yoder was raised on a dairy farm as one of eleven children. Growing up in a large family and working on the farm taught him the value of hard work from an early age.
He later got his start in the timber industry working alongside an Amish logging crew. That hands-on experience gave him an understanding of the work involved in managing and harvesting timber from the ground up.
Experience You Can Bring to Your Property
Since starting his forestry business in 2022, Luke has continued building relationships throughout the industry. Today, he works with a network of sawmills and private logging professionals, helping connect landowners with the right resources for their property.
Beyond the Woods
Outside of forestry, Luke is an ultrarunner. He credits the sport with changing his life for the better and bringing a new perspective to what can be accomplished through persistence and hard work.
